Time to Get Engaged: Navigating Wedding Planning

When I first started doing weddings, I noticed that most of my inquiries from newly engaged couples started around the first of November and continued through the end of February. I quickly surmised that just like Back to School and the holidays, Autumn ushers in Engagement Season.

This is the time of the year when 40% of proposals are made and couples subsequently are engaged to be married.  According to WeddingWire.com, 17% of marriage proposals are made on the same 10 days of every year, the most popular day being Christmas Day. Valentine’s Day is the second most popular day of the year followed by Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day.
